Managing MySQL user permissions

How to manage a MySQL user’s access privileges.

  1. Log into your control panel
  2. Click the “Development Tools ” tab in the left frame
  3. A submenu will appear in the left frame, click on “MySQL”
  4. At the top of the new page you will see “Overview”, “Databases”, “Users”, “Documentation”, click on “Users”.
  5. If your plan has database users already setup, click on the “Manage” text link for the user you wish to manage. You can then select which permissions this user should be given, and also which databases to be associated with.
